• Greet your counterpart and use an indirect question to ask about their local time.
• Explain your daily overlap hours and whether you prefer synchronous calls or async-first updates.
• Ask who is in charge of the upcoming cross-functional project in the London office.
Introducing Yourself on Slack
Write a short introduction message (40–120 words) for a new Slack channel shared between the London and Seattle engineering teams. Mention your role, your line manager, and one fun fact about your hobbies.
• Use indirect questions if you ask your new teammates for help finding documents.
• Include at least two vocabulary words from this lesson, such as 'cross-functional' or 'async-first'.
• Check your word order when writing polite questions.
