Past Simple: Regular and Irregular Verbs

• We use the past simple to talk about finished actions in the past. Regular verbs end in -ed, but irregular verbs have special forms that you need to learn.

• To make questions and negative sentences, use the auxiliary verb 'did / did not (didn't)' with the base form of the verb.
