Investigating the Mystery Logo
Work in pairs. You are designers in Austin or Seattle. Someone changed the logo in the shared library by mistake. Discuss who did it, look at the history, and find out what happened.
• Ask your partner who changed the logo using a subject question.
• Discuss what you were doing while the change happened.
• Admit if you made an accident or apologize for a mistake.
• Look at the version history and find a clue.
An Apology Message to the Team
Write a short message (40–120 words) to your design team in Austin or Seattle. Explain that you deleted a component by mistake, apologize for the issue, and state that you fixed it using a backup.
• Use subject questions or past continuous to explain the situation.
• Include at least three new words from Part B (e.g., accident, apologize, admit).
• Check your connectors (so, because, although) to link your ideas.
