Daily Stand-up in the Studio
Act out a quick daily stand-up meeting with a colleague in Seattle or London. Tell each other what you worked on yesterday, what you are working on right now, and if you have any blockers.
• Say hello and state your current main task this week.
• Ask your partner what they are designing at the moment.
• Explain any bugs or issues you are waiting for the developer to fix.
Update Slack Message
Write a short Slack message (40–120 words) to your design team in Austin or London. Tell them about your current tasks, which landing page or mobile app version you are testing, and any meetings today.
• Use present continuous for what you are doing right now or this week.
• Mention specific design elements like buttons, logos, or sign-up forms.
• Keep sentences clear and concise for a professional workspace.
