The Worst Tech Disaster
Discuss with a partner about a time when your file crashed or you lost work. Talk about what you were doing when it happened and how you fixed it.
• What were you doing when the file crashed in your office?
• Did you lose any unsaved changes or did the autosave help?
• Who did you call for help, and how did you stay calm?
Incident Report Message
Write a short message (40-120 words) to your team lead in a Chicago studio explaining a sudden file crash and asking IT support for help.
• Use the past continuous to describe what you were doing when the crash happened.
• Mention if you lost work or if the cloud backup saved your changes.
• Keep the tone professional and calm.
