Explaining Your Team Structure
Talk about how your design team works in your office. Describe your daily rituals, whether you work remotely or in a hybrid setup, and how you collaborate with developers.
• Do you work in a hybrid team or fully remotely in your city?
• What team rituals or weekly syncs do you have in your office?
• How do you collaborate with developers in your squad?
• Do you ever feel stretched thin across multiple projects?
Introductory Message to a New Teammate
Write a message (50–100 words) to welcome a new designer joining your squad in Austin or Seattle. Explain how your team works, mention your main async communication tools, and invite them to your next weekly sync.
• Use present simple for permanent team habits and present continuous for what you are working on today.
• Include at least two lesson vocabulary items like 'async', 'squad', or 'weekly sync'.
• Check that your state verbs (know, need, belong) are in the correct form.
