Adverbs of Frequency and Time Expressions

• We use adverbs of frequency and time expressions to say how often we do things on weekends. Adverbs go before normal verbs, but after the verb 'to be'.

• Mark usually goes shopping in Seattle on Saturdays.
• sometimes
• We sometimes watch TV in our apartment in Boston.
• never
• David never works on Sundays.
• Remember
• Use 'always', 'usually', 'sometimes', and 'never' to show frequency.
• Place the adverb before the main verb.
• Place time expressions like 'every Sunday' at the beginning or the end of the sentence.
• Adverbs of frequency go after the verb 'to be'.
