Meeting Your New Neighbor
Role-play a short conversation with a partner. You are meeting your new neighbor for the first time in the hallway of an apartment block in Boston.
• Say hello and introduce yourself to the new neighbor.
• Ask where they moved from and how they like the apartment block.
• Offer to help them out or invite them for coffee.
• Wish them a good day and say goodbye politely.
A Welcome Note
Write a short welcome message (50-80 words) to your new neighbor who just moved next door in Chicago. Leave the note on their door.
• Start with a friendly greeting and welcome them to the building.
• Mention your name and offer to help them out if they need anything.
• End with a polite closing and your apartment number.
