• Open the discussion by stating your stance using a stance adverbial (e.g., Frankly, Technically speaking).
• Express concern using a noun clause (e.g., What worries me is whether…) about the proposed implementation timeline.
• Propose a compromise solution and invite another stakeholder to weigh in.
Email to the Planning Committee
Write an email (80-110 words) to the Boston planning committee voicing your concerns and suggestions regarding the draft neighborhood plan.
• Begin with a formal future reference or stance adverbial (e.g., As the committee is slated to review…).
• Incorporate at least two Part A vocabulary items (e.g., public feedback, affordable housing).
• Maintain a diplomatic, professional tone suitable for advanced civic engagement.
