Discuss with your partner what had been going on in an application before a major crash. Talk about memory leaks, sluggish performance, and how long the issue had been happening unnoticed.

• How long had the memory leak been going unnoticed?
• What did you find when you checked the server heap?
• How did the team finally trigger the alert?
Incident Report Message
Write a short message (60-100 words) to your manager in San Francisco explaining a performance issue. Describe what had been going on with the application and how you fixed it.
• Use the past perfect continuous to describe ongoing actions before the fix.
• Include vocabulary like 'sluggish', 'degradation', and 'baseline'.
• Keep the tone professional and concise.
